BCG Donates Two More Laptops to Students

Two more students recently received new computers in January thanks to the generosity of the members of The Breakfast Club. That brings the total to six in the past 12 months when the group decided to help students who were struggling with school assignments due to the pandemic. The goal is to donate as many as possible over the next 12 months.

Kenneth Meccia and Robert withers were on hand to distribute two new laptop computers to young students in Yonkers at the Inner Faith Church. Aaron Hart and James Minton III were the recipients. Our thanks to Bishop Nelson for arranging the presentation at the Church and our thanks to the entire group for their contributions. The two young men were filled with gratitude and the whole congregation, led by Bishop Nelson, prayed for the students and for our group.

Past donations include a $500 donation to General Needs, a nonprofit organization that focuses on helping homeless Veterans and their families, to purchase 20 winter coats for Veterans, as well as donations to Toys for Tots.
